Sky glows red as crews battle huge fire in Trent Lakes

KAWARTHA LAKES-Fire Crews from Trent Lakes are battling a huge blaze near Kennedy Drive north of Northern Avenue tonight.

Several area residents took to social media just after 10pm to report that the sky was glowing red across Pigeon Lake and Little Bald Lake.

Firefighters on the scene told Kawartha 411 a three story home on Evergreen Way was destroyed. Witnesses say some trees also caught fire.

It’s unclear if there are any injuries at this time.
