Lindsay woman charged after early morning crash

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 34 year old Lindsay woman is facing a number of charges after a crash early this morning.

Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a single vehicle collision at approximately 1:55 am. The collision occurred on Cottingham Road, the driver was the sole occupant and not injured in the crash according to police.

Following an investigation, Jennifer Parcells, 34 years of age of Lindsay was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  •  Driving With More Than 80 mgs of Alcohol in 100 mls of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Driving While Under Suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
  • Careless Driving contrary to section 130(1) HTA
