Halloween PA Day at Kawartha Conservation promises spooky fun

KAWARTHA LAKES-Wondering what to do with the kids on the next PA day? Well Kawartha Conservation has you covered.

Children from 4 to 8 years old can look forward to a fun-filled Halloween inspired P.A. Day Nature Camp at Ken Reid Conservation Area on Friday, October 26.
“We always get great feedback from our camp participants and parents regarding our nature camp experiences,” said Coordinator, Environmental Programs/GIS Specialist Nancy Aspden. “We’re really looking forward to this camp and have a lot of great activities in store for the kids.”
In keeping with the time of year, the camp will focus on Fall and Halloween with an educational and fun fall hike, spooky scavenger hunt and fall themes arts and crafts for the kids.
“The Halloween P.A. Day Nature Camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with drop off between 8 and 8:30 a.m. and pick-up between 4 and 4:30 p.m.,” said Aspden. “Space is limited for this popular fall camp so I encourage interested parents to book early to avoid disappointment.”
Space is limited and the day long camp includes a pizza lunch. Parents can register their four to eight year old child or children online by visiting www.kawarthaconservation.com/education.
