KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes Police were called to investigate spray painting on the road near IE Weldon Secondary School.

The words F*** school and FTP were found painted on Weldon Road just after 4pm on Monday.

Witnesses say police were called because of the nature of the comments and the proximity to the school.

Police told Kawartha 411. “Our police service received a call from a concerned citizen yesterday afternoon.” Sgt. Dave Murtha stated.  “A member of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service attended the area to photograph the mischief.”

The incident is being investigated and anyone with information is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service.
