KAWARTHA LAKES-A teen from the Peterborough area has been invited to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May.
Faith Dickinson is one of 7 youth from the Diana Awards to be invited to the wedding.
Last May, 20 young people traveled to St. James’s Palace to receive the Legacy Award set up by the Diana Award charity to recognize the “monumental impact” they have made on society.
Dickinson was one of them and was presented the award by Prince William and Prince Harry at St. James Palace.
Dickinson is the heart behind Cuddles for Cancer, making blankets for cancer patients and others suffering through illness.In five years she made more than 3000 blankets and raised almost $30,000.
Now Dickinson will get another chance to get up close and personal with the Royals with a much coveted invitation to the royal wedding.
