22 year old woman killed in crash on Highway 7

KAWARTHA LAKES-The OPP says a 22 year old Lindsay woman died in a crash on Highway 7, near Omemee, this afternoon.

It happened at around 12:30pm. Police, fire and EMS were called to a two vehicle crash just west of the village. Roads were treacherous at the time and OPP Sgt. Peter Leon said road conditions were a factor.  A section of highway 7 between Lilac Road and Heights Road has been closed for the investigation.

Another man was injured and taken to hospital.No names have been released
