Van stolen from Bobcaygeon found engulfed in flames Wednesday morning

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are seeking information regarding a stolen van that was found engulfed in flames early Wednesday morning.

Police were called to Memorial Park on Lindsay Street South at 5:38 am on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 regarding a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames. When police arrived, they were able to determine that the 2008 Chevrolet Venture Van had been stolen from the Bobcaygeon area earlier in the morning. The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire.

Kawartha Lakes Police are seeking the public’s assistance and asking that anyone who may have seen the van or anyone in the area of the park prior to or after 5:38 am on Wednesday morning to contact them at 705.324.5252 or if you wish to provide information anonymously, you can do so through Crimestoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS (8477) or at www.khcs.ca .
