Lindsay man charged with possession of Fentanyl

KAWARTHA LAKES-A traffic stop near Peterborough has resulted in drug charges for a Lindsay man.

Police say on November 7th, 2017 at approximately 10:50am, OPP Officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 7 near the 4th Line of Belmont in the Township of Havelock, Belmont, Methuen. A subsequent investigation allegedly resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs.

36 year old Matthew Dean of Lindsay and 56 year old Gregory Starr of no fixed address have been charged with posession of fentanyl and posession of pot. In addition Dean was also charged with driving while under suspension, fail to surrender permit, not wearing a seatbelt and no validation on a licence plate.
