Lindsay man “taps” his way to a visit with a judge

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man was arrested and charged yesterday after he allegedly used the tap feature to make numerous purchases with a credit card that didn’t belong to him.

Police say on Monday, October, 16th the victim told Kawartha Lakes Police that on Sunday, they had inadvertently lost one their credit cards. Since that time the “tap” feature of the card had been used to make a number of purchases around Lindsay. One of the purchases made was to a home delivery service, which led police to identify the suspect.

41-year-old Jean-Marc Caissie was arrested and charged with six counts of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, Unlawful Possession of a Credit Card and Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.
