KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a boat and motor that was stolen from a Hillside Drive home sometime Monday morning.
Police were called at 12:30 pm on September 18th after the owner of the boat returned home and discovered the boat missing from their driveway. The owner indicated that the boat, motor and trailer had been parked in their driveway when they left for work at 7:00 am on that morning. When they returned home shortly after 12:00 pm, they allegedly discovered the boat was missing. It is described as a 16 foot Lowe model 1667 aluminium boat, blue and beige in colour with a silver 20 horsepower Honda motor attached. The boat sat on a 2010 Easy Loader trailer black in colour with Ontario licence plate #D7299J attached to it.
Police are asking that anyone who may have seen the boat, motor and trailer combination or that may have observed any suspicious vehicles or persons on Hillside Drive between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm on Monday, September 18th, 2017 to contact them at 705.324.5252.
