KAWARTHA LAKES-A 61-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly threatening a man and woman with a crowbar Saturday afternoon.
Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a former Ops Township residence after being contacted by a couple who said they had been threatened with a crowbar. The couple reported they had been the victims of ongoing harassment by a person that they use to have a business relationship with. The harassment had been going on for several months when the couple made an attempt to resolve the matter according to police. The couple went to the residence of the accused, and say they were confronted by him on the roadway with a crowbar.
Michael Bulpin of the former Ops Township was charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon For a Dangerous Purpose.
