Man charged after disturbance on Angeline Street

KAWARTHA LAKES-On Sunday morning just after 4:30am police were called to a disturbance taking place on Angeline Street North in Lindsay.

No detail were released with regards to the disturbance but police say officers learned that a vehicle had been damaged during the incident. 21-year-old Lindsay resident Jacob NORRIS was charged with mischief under $5000.

Meanwhile over the long weekend members of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to multiple reports from concerned citizens in Lindsay about suspicious persons checking parked vehicles. Police say in some instances, it was discovered that unlocked vehicles had been entered and valuables taken.

Police are reminding vehicle owners are reminded to keep their vehicles locked and to keep all valuable items concealed from view.
