KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is not only missing his pick-up truck but his tools as well after his truck was stolen overnight.

Police say a pick-up truck was stolen from a Colborne Street West residence sometime this morning between midnight and 3am.  The owner had temporarily parked the truck curbside to remove a second vehicle from his driveway.

The truck is described as a 2001 blue GMC Sierra with a matching blue truck cap.  According to police the truck contained a significant quantity of tools in the covered bed.

If you see a blue GMC truck abandoned or parked in an unusual location is asked to call the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

Kawartha Lakes Police are also looking for an outboard motor. Sometime between 11pm on July 18th and 8am, July 19th an older 2hp Suzuki outboard motor was stolen from the stern of an aluminum boat parked in the driveway of a Lindsay Street North residence.  The motor had been hand painted in colours of brown and yellow.
