Peterborough woman facing alcohol related charges after crash

PETERBOROUGH-The Peterborough Police Service has arrested and charged a 22-year-old Peterborough woman following a single vehicle collision.

Police say at approximately 3 a.m. on July 5th they were called to a single vehicle collision in the area of Cunningham Boulevard and Francis Stewart Road after a vehicle had struck a light post. While speaking with the female driver of the vehicle officers allegedly noted an odour of alcohol coming from her breath. A breath test revealed the driver had more than the legal limit of alcohol in her system according to police

22 year old Dominica Cucci of Cunningham Boulevard, Peterborough, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mg blood alcohol content.
