Millbrook teen charged with impaired driving by drug

PETERBOROUGH-A 19-year-old Millbrook teen has been arrested for impaired driving by drug following a Wednesday night incident.

Police say on June 28, 2017 at approximately 8:30 p.m. they received calls from concerned citizens regarding a possible impaired driver parked on the sidewalk outside a multi-unit complex on Armour Road.

Through the investigation, which included examination by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), it was determined that the female, who was in the vehicle along with a male passenger, was impaired by a drug.

As a result of the investigation a Millbrook, was arrested and charged with impaired driving by drug (Prescription drug).

The accused was served a 90 day licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
