Kawartha 411 welcomes new intern

PETERBOROUGH-Kawartha 411 is pleased to welcome another intern who will be roaming the streets of Peterborough in search of great stories.

Lindsey Cooke is from Whitby, ON and has lived there for her entire life until she went off to school. Cooke is a student at the Trent University/Loyalist College joint Journalism program.

As a young girl, Lindsey dreamed of becoming an actress and be on the big screen because she always had a fascination with movie stars and films. But as she got older she dreamed of becoming a well-known journalist. She says she has always loved to write and loves the idea of hearing all sorts of different perspectives, ideas and stories from different people. She is very personable and enjoys interacting with others and learning new things.

If you see her out and about, stop and say hi!!
