Chevy pick-up truck stolen in Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Police are investigating the theft of a 2001 Chevrolet Dually pick-up truck that occurred sometime over the weekend.

The owner of the truck discovered it missing on Tuesday, June 27th and called police. It had last been seen on Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at 3;30 pm, when the owner left it parked at a St. David Street address.

The truck is described as 2001, Chevrolet 3500 dual axle pick-up truck, blue in colour. It was described as having shiny rims, a black box in the rear and a grey tailgate. It had Ontario licence plate AP86880.

Police are investigating another theft on June 26th on Fleetwood Road. It was determined that sometime since Saturday, June 24th, 2017 and Monday, June 26th, 2017, a trailer parked at the side of the business was broken into and a number of power tools were allegedly taken.

Tools taken included a Milwaukee cordless drill, Milwaukee 18 volt rechargeable batteries, Milwaukee drill set, Bosch hammer drill, a Jackall jack, a Turbotorch mini torch set and a ratchet set. The total value of tools missing was over $1000.00. At this time there are no suspects and police are asking that anyone with information contact them at
