Bobcaygeon man one of three drivers charged with drinking and driving related offenses

The Peterborough County OPP charged at least three people over the weekend with drinking and driving related offenses.

The marine unit was out conducting equipment checks on Pigeon Lake Saturday night and say one of the boaters was found to have been consuming alcohol.

33-year-old Andrew Nicholas Kinsman of Bobcaygeon, Ontario was arrested at the scene and charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.

Early Sunday morning officers report they located a vehicle driving in the wrong direction on Clonsilla Ave shortly before 4:00 am.

23-year-old Vanessa Moore of Peterborough, Ontario was arrested at the scene and charged with impaired driving and over 80.

Meanwhile, police pulled over a vehicle on Charlotte Street for a traffic violation shortly before 4:00 am this morning and the driver allegedly refused to provide a breath sample.

27-year-old Adam Robin William Tye of Peterborough was arrested and charged at the scene with failing to provide a breath sample.
