Scarborough man charged with defrauding home renovation store

A Scarborough man has been charged with fraud following an investigation by Peterborough Police.

Police say a man used a used a fraudulent cheque to pay for nearly $5,000 in flooring material from a Peterborough home renovation and building store on April 18th.

 On April 22, 2016 a warrant was issued for the arrest of Kenneth Arthur Arseneau, 67, of Tuxedo Court, Scarborough, on the charge of fraud under $5,000.

Police say on May 3, 2017 the man was in custody on another matter and was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
