McHappy day in Lindsay has raised $7000 for the Boys and Girls Club Foundation of The City of Kawartha Lakes. Victoria Manor retirement residence purchased 90 meals for their residents.

McDonalds McHappy Day was on Wednesday May 3rd. One dollar from the sale of every Big Mac, Happy Meal or any size hot McCafe beverage was donated to The Boys and Girls Club of Kawartha Lakes and Ronald mcDonald House Charities.

The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Chief John Hagarty and members of the Kawartha Lakes OPP were flipping burgers and pouring coffee at local McDonalds locations for the day.

Great day for a great cause.
