Man charged with impaired, driving with no insurance

The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to complaint from a concerned citizen about a vehicle driving Northbound on Highway 35 approaching Lindsay yesterday at around 6pm. .

OPP officers located the vehicle and as a result the driver, 61 year old Stephen Churchill of Port Perry, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, over 80 mg of alcohol, failing to surrender licence or permit and driving without insurance.

The OPP says they would like to thank the civilian witnesses that provided information to the Provincial Communications Center and to the responding officers.
