Missing man found dead

Tragic news for a Peterborough family tonight.

Peterborough Police issued an alert earlier today for a missing man.  They now say 88 year old Al Turner was found dead at the end of Mervin Line shortly after 1pm today. His car was found submerged in the water on a road that had been flooded out.
Turner was last seen leaving his residence in the area of Armour Rd and Parkhill Rd at approximately 5pm on Sunday April 16, 2017.
Police were concerned for his well being, and believe he may be confused or in medical distress.
Police say at this time Mr. Turner’s death does not appear suspicious. This is now a coroner’s investigation.
