Boathouse destroyed by fire near Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-Crews from a number of City of Kawartha Lakes fire halls were called to a blaze on Birchwood Lane near Fenelon Falls on Friday night.

The call came in at around 9:15 for a boat house on fire. When crews arrived the structure was fully ablaze. The fire spread to a nearby home but crews were quick to douse the flames.

An ambulance was requested however there’s no word on injuries.
