KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service has made an arrest in an investigation into thefts of lottery tickets.
Police say between August 7, 2026, and August 10, 2026, a male suspect attended stores in Lindsay and stole lotto tickets on multiple occasions.
On August 11, 2026, a male was arrested in connection to these thefts.
A 34-year-old Lindsay male has been charged with the following offences;
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Disguise with Intent X4
- Theft Under $5000 X4
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 X4
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
