KAWARTHA LAKES-A Fenelon Falls resident received a huge shout out from the City of Kawartha Lakes Fire And Rescue Service.
Since April, Greg Jarvis of Greg’s Scrap Removal has donated more than a dozen vehicles to help firefighters train and complete their auto-extrication certifications. Officials say he’s also handled all the towing and pickup, and hasn’t charged the City a cent!
“These vehicles give our firefighters the chance to practice real-life rescue techniques and build the skills they need when responding to serious collisions. Simply put, we couldn’t have completed this training without his support.” said the City “Thank you Greg for stepping up, giving back, and helping keep our community safe. We appreciate everything you’ve done!”
