BANCROFT-A Bancroft resident has been charged in connection with sexual offences involving minors.
In late April, the Bancroft Crime Unit began an investigation after receiving reports of alleged sexual offences.
As a result, Adam Palmer, 53 years old of Bancroft, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Sexual assault – three counts
- Sexual interference – two counts
- Sexual exploitation
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft at a later date.
