KAWARTHA LAKES-On April 26, 2026, shortly before 7:00 a.m., The city of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a violent robbery at a residence on Devitts Road in Verulam Township.
Three male suspects entered the home, assaulted the homeowner, demanded money and firearms, and fled with several chainsaws. One suspect has been arrested.
Police are seeking two additional suspects:
Suspect #2: White male, red hoodie, full beard, approx. 5’7″, 190 lbs, muscular build, tattoo sleeve on right hand
Suspect #3: White male, no description available
The suspects fled in a dark-coloured Ford F-250 style pickup truck.
