PETERBOROUGH-A 31-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident Friday afternoon.
At approximately 3:00pm on April 17, 2026, officers were called to the area of Reid Street just north of Sherbrooke Street about a man with his pants down and genitals exposed walking down the street and throwing rocks at vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located a man matching the description given to police. Police say the man started running when he saw the officers, however, they caught up with him and took him into custody.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old Peterborough man was arrested and charged with:
- Indecent Act- public place
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order X3
The accused is currently bound by three probation orders with the following condition: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He was held in custody and appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
