KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating a fatal collision that took place around 8:27pm on April 09, 2026.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP officers along with fire and EMS were dispatched to a collision on North Mountain Road in Bexley Township. Police say the driver of a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian on the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
North Mountain Road was closed between Doyle Road and County Road 41 while members trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
