Flags Lowered To Half-Mast To Mark The Passing Of Local Crossing Guard

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes announced the passing of fellow co-worker Ernie Cooper. Ernie worked as a Crossing Guard within the Engineering Department.

“Our condolences are extended to Ernie’s family, friends and co-workers.” said the City.

Ernie passed away on March 29 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

The flags at Kawartha Lakes City Hall, the Cenotaph at 190 Kent St., West, Lindsay, Bobcaygeon Service Centre, Coboconk Service Centre, Omemee Service Centre and Logie Park will be flown at half-mast.
