KAWARTHA LAKES-City Of Kawartha Lakes OPP officers were out recently conducting Commercial Motor Vehicle enforcement with the Ontario Transportation, focusing on road safety and regulatory compliance.
Their efforts delivered the following results:
19 Provincial Offence Notices (PONs)
15 Defects identified
11 Level 2 inspections
8 Level 1 inspections
4 vehicles placed Out of Service
3 licence plate removals
2 Dangerous Goods inspections
“This enforcement work helps keep unsafe vehicles off our roads and ensures operators are held accountable. A strong example of proactive policing and attention to public safety.” said police.
