KAWARTHA LAKES-On March 15, 2026, Northumberland OPP received a complaint regarding an alleged assault that had occurred the previous week at a residence on Percy Street in the Township of Cramahe.
Officers spoke with the complainant, who reported non‑serious injuries. Following further investigation, police arrested one individual on March 20.
32-year-old Brittany Murcar from Lindsay, has been charged with Assault.
The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in April.
