PETERBOROUGH-The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board has announced all schools and building will be closed tomorrow.
“As a result of the winter storm, significant snowfall forecasted to continue throughout the evening, and associated snow clearing in communities, all KPR schools, buildings, and worksites, including Education Centres, Before and After School programs, and full-day child care centres, are CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026, to students and all staff.” said the board on Facebook.
All Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic schools, buildings, and worksites, including the Catholic Education Centre, will also be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026 to students and staff.
Before and after school programs will be cancelled. Full day childcare programs that operate within our schools will message families independently.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board has not yet announced any closures.
