KAWARTHA LAKES- Police say nine vehicles are involved in a collision on Highway 35 near Lindsay. Some people were unable to get out of their vehicles according to witnesses. Police say there are minor injuries.
Whiteout conditions are causing problems on the roads across the region as crews responded to another crash on Highway 7 near Fowlers Corners.
Highway 7 is closed from Fowlers Corners to Sherbrook Street due to conditions.
Highway 35 is also closed between Thunderbridge and Kenrei due to conditions.
Crews are also responding to a two-vehicle collision on Emily Park Road south of Cottingham. Police are reporting minor injuries. The southbound lane is blocked and crews are enrout to assist. Police way weather conditions were a factor in this crash as well.
