PETERBOROUGH-A 37-year-old Peterborough woman is facing several charges after a traffic complaint Saturday morning.
At approximately 7:25am on December 20, 2025, officers were called to the area of Lansdowne Street East and Ashburnham Drive about a driver slumped over the wheel of a vehicle in a parking lot according to police. Upon arrival to the area, they located the vehicle and driver in a different parking lot with the driver and passenger doors open. Upon speaking with the driver, officers learned that she was suspended. During a search after arrest, officers located and seized:
- 126.8 grams of MDMA
- 90.5 grams of Bath Salts
- 27.7 grams of Fentanyl
- 25.4 grams of Cocaine
- 79.6 grams of Methamphetamine
- 125 tablets of Dilaudid
- 11 unknown tablets
- 3 vials of GHB
- Two knives
- Over $2300 in currency
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old Peterborough woman was arrested and charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs
- Production of anything for use in, production of/trafficking in, Schedule I or Schedule III substance
- Driving while under suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
The accused is currently bound by a probation order with the following condition: to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was held in custody and appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court on December 21, 2025.
