KAWARTHAS-Kawartha Art Gallery will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026! As part of this milestone, it is honouring the incredible support and creativity of its members with a special exhibit, “Your Hometown HeART”, featuring artworks created exclusively by our Members and Supporters. This will also mark the inaugural exhibit in the Gallery’s Art Nook Gallery exhibit space location at, 19 Cambridge Street South, Lindsay. We invite you to share what’s in your heART — your favourite place, person, animal, or thing that makes the Kawarthas special to you.

- This call is open to all Kawartha Art Gallery members and supporters.

Theme:
- “Your Hometown HeART” — what in the Kawarthas fills your heart with pride, peace, or inspiration?
Choose Your Medium:
- Paint
- Written Word
- Photography

How to Participate:
- Register online at www.kawarthagallery.com
- Upon registration, each member will receive one 8″ x 10″ canvas to create their artwork
- Canvases available to be picked up and dropped off at Kawartha Art Gallery located on the 2nd floor at 190 Kent Street West, Lindsay.
Exhibit Venue:
- All completed works will be proudly displayed in our first-ever exhibit in the new Art Nook at 19 Cambridge Street South, Lindsay in the Spring of 2026.
