Peterborough Police Lay Three Separate Stunt Driving Charges In Three Days

PETERBOROUGH-Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit laid three separate stunt driving charges in the past three days.

Two drivers were recorded going 92 and 95 km/h in a 50 km/hr zone on Lily Lake Road and Dolman Street between 9am and 10:00am on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.  Both drivers were issued 30-day driver’s license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.

A third driver was issued a stunt driving charge Friday, October 31, 2025, just after 6:30am.  An officer with the Traffic Unit recorded the vehicle going 101 km/h in a 50km/hr on Lansdowne Street just east of River Road.  The driver was issued a 30-day driver’s license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
