Bancroft Man Charged With Failing To Comply With Court Order And Drug Possession

BANCROFT-Bancroft OPPP officers have arrested one person for failing to comply with a prohibition order and drug possession.

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m., officers attended a disturbance in the Town of Bancroft. Police say one of the parties at a residence was found to be breaching the conditions of a prohibition order. The party was arrested and searched, with suspected methamphetamine being located.

38-year-old Brandon Rush of Bancroft has been charged with failure to comply with a prohibition order and possession of a schedule I substance.

The accused was held for bail and was released by the courts and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on November 4, 2025.
