Peterborough Residents Asked To Avoid Area Of Fire At Scrap Metal Business And Keep Windows Closed

UPDATE: The fire is now out and residents can open windows.

PETERBOROUGH-Emergency crews are dealing with a large fire as a scrap metal business in Peterborough.

Police ar asking residents to avoid the area of the Queensway between Erskine Avenue and Monaghan Road. There is a fire at the scrap metal business.

Residents south of the mall between Erskine Avenue and Monaghan Road are asked to keep their windows closed.

There’s no word on the cause of the blaze.
