KAWARTHA LAKES-On July 20, 2025, at around 3:00am a Kawartha Lakes Police Service officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop in the area of
Francis Street and William Street North in Lindsay.
During the stop the officer observed signs of alcohol consumption in the vehicle and conducted an impaired driving investigation.
As a result, a 19-year-old from Fenelon Township was charged with Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero and driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor.
