Charges Laid After Glass Door And Planter Broken At Downtown Lindsay Business

KAWARTHA LAKES-Police have charged a 42-year-old male following mischief in downtown Lindsay.

In the early morning hours of July 16th 2025, police responded to a glass break alarm at a Kent Street West business in Lindsay, ON.  Upon arrival they found that the glass door had been damaged along with a broken flower pot.

While on scene a second alarm was received in the area according to police.  Officers attended and quickly located a male who was taken into custody.

The investigation revealed that several acts of mischief from local businesses and City owned property, and a theft had been committed. As a result, a 42-year-old male from Lindsay has been charged with:

  • Theft Under $5000
  • Mischief Under $5000 x 6
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was released with a future court date.
