58-Year-Old Cyclist Killed In Collision Near Colborne

ONTARIO-The Northumberland OPP is investigating a fatal collision involving a pickup truck and a bicycle that occurred on County Road 2 near Colborne.

On July 1, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to a collision on County Road 2, between Colton Street to Jackson Drive. The Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were also dispatched to the incident.

As a result of the collision, the cyclist, a 58-year-old male from the Townshhip of Cramahe, is deceased.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators and an OPP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation and an update will be provided when available. The road was closed until shortly after 7:30 a.m. on July 2, 2025.
