PETERBOROUGH-Peterborough County OPP received a report of a trailer stolen from a church property.
On Wednesday June 18 an officer was dispatched to a report of a stolen trailer from a church property located on Keene Road in the Otonabee-South Monaghan Township.
Upon arrival, the complainant advised that the trailer had been on the property for several months and contained various contracting tools used for maintenance on the church. The complainant advised that the trailer had been taken some time between when it was last seen on Sunday June 15, 2025, and when it was noticed missing on the afternoon of Monday June 16, 2025.
The trailer, a 2021 dark grey 5’x8′ enclosed trailer valued at approximately $6,000, was parked in the parking area and had a lock on the hitch as well as a chain attached to the axle. The trailer also had an Ontario licence plate of V9153D attached to it at the time it was taken as well as stickers from Action Trailers.
Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identification of the suspect(s) involved in this theft.
