KAWARTHA LAKES-A 43-year-old Lindsay man is facing charges after an incident at a Peterborough business Tuesday evening.
At approximately 7:00pm on May 27, 2025, officers were called to the Home Depot about a theft in progress. Upon arrival, they learned a suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for items and was detained by the Loss Prevention Officer. Through investigation it was determined that the man was also wanted in connection with nine other incidents at the same store over the past six months according to police.
As a result, a 43-year-old Lindsay man was arrested and charged with:
- Theft Under $5000Â X10
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, May 28, 2025.
