KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS) Drug Enforcement Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Emergency Response Team and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a Lindsay residence on April 25.
As a result of the investigation a male was arrested and the following was seized:
- Fentanyl 22.15 grams
- Cocaine
- Canadian Currency ($2300)
The approximate street value of the seized drugs was $5600.
39-year-old Lance Herman from Thornhill, ON has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance- Cocaine
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent St West in Lindsay.
