Drug Trafficking Charges Laid After Traffic Stop On Highway 35

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPPĀ  has charged one person following a traffic stop on Saturday evening.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Highway 35, an officer conducted a traffic stop, which led to an investigation into drug trafficking.

As a result of the investigation,

41-year-old Anthony Davis-Harriot from Toronto was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking X 5
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

The accused was released from custody with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Lindsay on a later date.
