Weldon Wildcats Win COSSA Championship

KAWARTHA LAKES-The IE Weldon boys varsity hockey team won the COSSA championship for the 2nd year in a row yesterday in Belleville. They beat Centennial from Belleville in the semifinal 6-1. Liam Williams led the way with a hat trick. The boys then defeated CCI for the 4rth time this year in the final 3-1. Lochlan Stone scored the championship winner on a breakaway in the second period. Nash McGill also chipped in with a goal. Liam Williams had the other.

The team will play in the OFSAA championship March 17th -20th in Windsor .
