Police Looking For Witnesses After Stabbing In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating a stabbing in Lindsay.

On March 3, 2025 at approximately 4:15am officers responded to a Lindsay apartment community to assist the ambulance for a 52-year-old male who had shown up at an apartment with an unknown head injury.  The initial report stated that the male had fallen on ice.

While being treated by paramedics the injury did not appear to be consistent with a fall, and further investigation revealed that the male had suffered a serious stab injury to his head.  He was transported to the Ross Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Criminal Investigations Branch is currently investigating the incident.  Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information which may assist in the investigation are asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch at 705-324-5252 or Kawartha Haliburton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
