PETERBOROUGH-Officers from the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving after investigating a vehicle in the ditch call.
On February 24, 2025, shortly after 6:00pm, Peterborough County OPP Officers were contacted about a vehicle that had gone off the road on Asphodel 3rd Line. Officers say they arrived on scene to find a grey pickup truck that had gone off the road and was lodged deep in snow. An individual was located in the driver’s seat and the driver’s window was open according to police. Officers called to the individual who exited the vehicle through the window as the snow was too deep to open the door.
22-year-old Noah Anderson of Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON., was arrested and charged with:
·      Operation while impaired
·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on March 25, 2025.
