NORTHUMBERLAND-The Northumberland OPP has charged a Wasaga Beach man in a child sexual exploitation investigation.
On January 28, 2025, officers received information that a minor had been communicating with an adult and that explicit communications had been exchanged.
The Northumberland Crime Unit were engaged to assist with the investigation and on February 21, 2025, officers attended an address in Wasaga Beach and arrested one male party.
As a result of this investigation, Joshua Noble-Murray, 26-years-old, from Wasaga Beach, has been charged with:
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Make sexually explicit material available to a person under 14 years of age
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Agreement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 14 years of age
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Luring a person under 14 years of age by means of telecommunication
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Possession of child pornography
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age.
The accused was held for bail before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
